Modeling

Let’s start now by creating a polygonal cube and start modeling.

This time we will not create the cube as we created before. We will change some of the setting to create the cube which is required for the lamp we going to model.

Make sure that polygon menu is set now go in Create and polygon primitives. In the sub menu of polygon primitives we have different shapes like Sphere, cube, cylinder, cone, Plane etc.

We will discuss every single task we will do. Right now I want you to unclick the Interactive Creation by clicking on the Interactive.

When you do it what will happened? Now when you click on any of the shape tool sphere, cube or cylinder the object just automatically appears in the canter of the grid. We will scale and move after creating the object and also use the options of the tools also but just when then it’s needed. Right now we set to auto create and we use channel box to manipulate the object.

Start by Creating a Polygon Cube

Now create a cube you already know the several ways to create polygonal cube from the menu tools and also from polygons shelf. But this time let's create a polygonal cube by using the hotbox.

Press the space bar and using RMM (right mouse button) open the create go into polygon primitives now cube when the cube tool highlighted left the mouse button

The cube will be created automatically in the center of the grade. You may notice that first time we created an cube by first drag a square on the grade and then dragged up words but this time a small cube created automatically in the center of the grade because we off  Interactive Creation.
