Assigning Material to Cartoon RocketThis tutorial will demonstrate how to assign material to 3d objects in Maya and you will change the attributes of a material in Maya. After this tutorial you will be able to use Maya’s Hypershade, assign material and change their attributes.
Assigning Material in Maya has different ways. You may use hypershade which is the best way to assign new materials onto the objects. As well as you may right click on the object or faces and you can choose Assign New Material from Marking Menu. Materials are Foundation of the colors in Maya or some 3d software. Most of the materials looks like a sphere as we see in 3d studio Max. There are many types of materials in Maya, such as blinn, phong, phong E, anistropic, lambert and so on.
