Hands-on excercise of above video tutorials ................ !!

Let’s start now,

my first animation

1. Go to Particle Menu and Create an Emitter right in the middle of water tap shower. Make sure that have set the Menu Set to Dynamics.
image002
2. Change the time line’s frames to 500 3. Play the animation
image004
4. Select the Emitter object in Outliner
image006
5. Open up Attribute Editor and change Emitter Type to Directional
image008
6. Play the animation
image010
7. Select Emitter in Outliner and Press the Key T on keyboard
image012

When you press the T key on board and you have selected the emitter you will see a new tool control which allows you to control the particle flow with free hand.

8. Change Rate Value to 500 by left clicking and dragging outwards 9. Then switch the little blue lock with left click

When you click the blue lock you will see a change in tools.

10. Change the direction of the flow downwards to the tub

image014

11. Again click the blue lock and you will find the spread value attribute

12. Change the spread value according to your desire

image016

13. Play the animation

image018

14. As well as you can change the speed attribute by switch the blue lock again.

15. Now select the particles

image020

16. Go to the Attribute Editor by pressing Ctr+A

17. Choose the particle shape1 tab

18. Change the particle render type from Points to Streaks

image022

19. Click the button Current Render Type

20. Change the line width from 1 to 2

21. Normal Dir from 2 to 3

22. Tail fade 1

23. Tail size 3

image024

24. Click the Color Button in Attribute Editro

A small dialog will appear

25. Check Add per Object check box

26. Hit Add Attribute

image026

Now you can change the RGB color in Attribute Editor. Scroll Attribute Editor and Find RGB Color values.

image028

Or you can directly assign a color to the object for rendering purpose.

27. Select the particles right click and get, Assign New Material>Blinn

28. Choose the color from color swatch in Attribute Editor let’s say white

Now you need to make collide the particles with the object

29. First Select the particles then shift select the object

30. Go to Particle Menu and select Make Collide

This will make a collision between particle and the object

image030

31. Now select particles and go the Attribute Editor by pressing Ctr+A

32. Select the Geo Connecter Tab

33. Change the value of resilience to 0.05 or whatsoever you feel better for your flow

image032

34. Check other options such as friction and offset for your specific jobs

Now you need to assign Gravity Field to the particle for real flow effect

35. Select particles

36. Go to the Fields Menu and select Gravity

image034

You can change the magnitude of Gravity field

37. Open up the Attribute Editor

38. Select the Gravity Field with particle selected

39. Adjust the Magnitude of Gravity wherever you want

That’s it.

You have created a particle flow. You can make more good things after some practice. Wish you all the best.
