Time Slider and Range Slider are the main Animation UI Elements in Maya. Whatsoever method you use for animating your objects, you are bounded to use time and range slider in almost all cases. Time Slider can be find right beneath the workspace of perspective view and Range Slider is situated under the Time Slider. Time Slider shows the Total numbers of frames that are being used in Animation. Range Slider specifies the numbers of frames, the start and end frames, and controls the time slider’s range. Time slider has many options when you right click on it.
